I had the privilege of sharing some of my favorite East Hampton spots through a summer series featured by The New Traditionalists’. They posted these images on their Instagram feed, and because I had such a fun time with this, I decided to share them here as well.
We first started coming out to the Hamptons for the magical gardens and lush landscape, but it didn’t take long to fall in love with everything else about the place: the shingled cottages, the windswept beaches, and the bucolic views.
No visit would be complete without a visit to Elizabeth Dow Home. This textile maven calls East Hampton home and has an exquisitely curated store filled with beautiful furniture and must have home accessories.
After the shopping has worked up an appetite, I’m always ready to head to Round Swamp Farm to see what fresh fruits and veggies are in store. Sure, buy the peaches and the cherries, but do not overlook their pies and prepared foods. We’re also big fans of the “fiesta” guacamole.
Finally, we always plan a sail from Three Mile Harbor.
Hope you enjoyed these images, but better yet–visit the area for yourself. You’ll fall in love with the charm and natural beauty of this place just like we did.
